Bouncing Baby

A seven-month-old baby girl and an 18-month-old baby boy both survived falls from their flats.

The girl had been thrown out the fifth-floor kitchen window by her mother. She landed on a canopy on the second floor, where she was rescued. The baby is in the hospital in stable condition.

The boy had climbed over a balcony railing on his third-floor flat. Despite a fall to the street, he survived and is in serious condition in the hospital.

It's amazing they're alive. Babies are fragile, but in some ways they're more resilient than adults.

Gives a whole new meaning to the term bouncing baby.
