Hetero Hairdressers

According to top hairdresser Kim Robinson, who has spent more than 10 years in Hong Kong practicing his profession, 90% of hairdressers are straight.

He observed this at the L'Oreal's hair Oscars: a competition for Hong Kong's elite crimpers and colour artists.

I don't know why this should be. In other countries the equation is reversed. But Hong Kong hairdressing seems to attract an inordinate number of heterosexuals.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.
