Aren't criminals supposed to run away when confronted by the police?

Three alleged triad members were arrested for dragging a minibus driver from his vehicle and beating him. Five attackers took part at first, but when beat cops arrived on the scene, two ran. The other three continued to beat the driver until they were subdued.

Those are some serious thugs!
