Mmmmm ... Snouts

Here's a tip: when ordering Chinese hot pot, make certain you understand what you're getting.

I learned this lesson the hard way. At a local restaurant, Mabel ordered what sounded good.

Soon afterward we found ourselves facing two hot pots full of ... parts. Yep, all the good stuff: liver, tendons ... other unidentifiable bits of mystery meat.

As Homer Simpson once said: Mmmmm ... snouts.

Did we eat it? Sigh ... yes. Did we enjoy it?
