Queue From Hell

It's a rare day I find a short queue for teller service at the bank.

Today wasn't it. When I stepped through the doors, 50 people were in the queue.

In the week leading to Lunar New Year people become desperate to get their lucky transactions done in time, and exchange cash into brand new paper bills for lai see, also known as red pocket money.

It took 45 minutes to reach a teller.

I didn't exchange any money for lai see; I had the foresight to do that last week.
