Might As Well Jump

A woman who attempted suicide last year is being dragged through the small claims tribunal for $27,500 by the man whose car she landed on when she jumped off her building.

The car was a write-off.

She's refusing to pay because she says the car was illegally parked. She said to the adjudicator: "I meant to die. Instead of saving me, the car has upset my plan."

The tribunal can't force her to hand over the cash.

If she doesn't want to pay, all she has to do is jump.
