Lai See

View large image One of the most fun customs of Lunar New Year is the giving of lai see, also known as huhng baau, or red packet, explained in The Year of the Dragon.

I've prepared packets for the next three days. We'll visit all of Mabel's aunties and all their kids.

Nothing makes people smile bigger than giving them cash.
