Firecracker Fool

A guy tried to rob a branch of Standard Chartered Bank by threatening a teller with a bottle filled with firecrackers.

He demanded $15,000, or he'd light the firecrackers. Standard Chartered branches don't have bulletproof glass separating the teller from the customer as do most other banks in Hong Kong. The teller gave him the money and he ran, but he was chased and caught by the branch security guard and two police officers.

If I'd been the teller I'd have laughed in the guy's face.

Say he lights it and tosses it behind the counter.

Everyone scatters.

How's the nitwit going to leap the counter and get the cash out of a locked drawer when the firecrackers are exploding all around him?
