Leviathan
Bruce the Goldfish is a leviathan.
At 37.2 centimeters (14.65 inches), Bruce, a red oranda, might earn a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
He was bred by two brothers from Hong Kong, Jackie and Louis Chan, on a fish farm in Dongguan, Guangdong province, China. They've obtained a certificate of authenticity from the Chinese government to prove Bruce is the real deal.
The Chinese prize goldfish because they are believed to bring good fortune into the home. Wealthy collectors have paid into the tens of thousands of dollars for the rarest species. No one is certain how much Bruce would fetch, but it's expected to be high.
He's going to need a larger bowl.
