Call The Bomb Squad

Unexploded ordnance left over from WWII lies buried in Hong Kong, waiting to be dug up.

Rush hour traffic ground to a halt after a 0.9 kilogram Japanese mortar was unearthed during renovations at a ground floor fashion store in Causeway Bay, one of Hong Kong's busiest districts. Thousands of people evacuated the area and stores were closed. Traffic was detoured as the bomb squad made its way to the site to detonate the mortar.

Soon afterward, Causeway Bay returned to normal, and it will stay that way until the next bomb is found.
