Deaf and Dumb

I can't stand political parties that set up tinny loudspeakers and spew out an endless stream of babble at eardrum-piercing volumes.

They park themselves at the busiest intersection in Causeway Bay and blast at levels that make The Who sound like conversation. They drown out traffic.

Are they so dumb to believe it works? No one stops to listen.

If people did, they wouldn't hear much for long.
